Amanda Riches created these classes to guide you through a practice that integrates the movements that you learned from Slava with additional transitions and poses from a more typical yoga practice. Each class consists of a warm-up, main sequence, and cool down. In the main sequence, you learn a movement phrase that combines movements from the program into a flow. The sequences are taught like a choreography; you learn one movement at a time and come back to the first position after each movement you add on. Amanda chose to teach in this way because the repetition makes it easy to memorize the sequence.
The classes are designed to be timeless and repeatable. We use minimal instruction so that you have the opportunity to tune into your own breath and body. The classes will grow with your movement practice so you can come back to them for years to come.
